AI Cooking Assistant
Your personal AI chef that helps you decide
A typical recipe search works from dish name to shopping list — you decide what to cook first, then go buy what's missing. An assistant works the other way: it starts from what's already in the kitchen and finds a solution around that. That's exactly how GenieChef is built — it doesn't just suggest recipes in general, it responds to your specific situation: what's actually sitting in your fridge right now. Quick Recipes is the most direct example of that kind of help: no account, about a minute, three ideas. You don't have to enter ingredients at all — the app will suggest options from the most common staples. There are two modes for how you're feeling: "I'm Hungry" (~30 minutes of cooking) and "I'm Tired" (~15 minutes) — the assistant adapts not just to what you have, but to how much energy you have left to cook. For a more precise result, there's Creative Recipes: you need at least one ingredient, then four filters kick in — cuisine, cooking time, diet, allergens. The allergen filter, for example, clears anything with gluten or lactose from the results, while the time filter cuts out anything longer than your set limit — no need to check each recipe by hand. Instructions are always step by step, nothing abbreviated, and missing items can be added to a shopping list with one tap. A good cooking assistant saves time on decisions, not just time at the stove — fewer open tabs, less comparing recipes against each other. You can install the app as a PWA on iOS and Android — it'll sit on your home screen with everything else and open with one tap, no browser needed.
